About Me

One could say I’m far from a beer brewing expert as I’ve only been brewing since October 2009 but must say that I really enjoy the entire process. I have yet to move into world of stouts, p0rters, or browns, but plan on going down that road shortly…hoping it goes well. I finally have all of the equipment needed to be self sufficient from start to finish, which means more exciting brew days ahead. At this point, I’m just trying to learn as much as I can, help others get into the hobby, and possibly start a homebrew club if the interest is there.

That’s the quick run down. I’m sure I’ll edit this in the future with a bit more detail.

  1. read SA Noble Pils review. I have found the bottled version very close to that that I have had on tap. Did note some small variation in carbonation level depending on tap pressure setting.

    • I like both draft and bottles, most definitely. I like using bottles to review since drafts can be depending on the tap pressure, the bartender’s pour, the temperature setting, etc. When I sit down to have a beer, I have no problem drinking a draft or a bottle…both are fine by me 🙂 Thanks for the comment.

  2. The above is a website you may well enjoy. The owner is a close friend and will be visiting next week. We plan on visiting Charleville, Crown, Morgan St., Square One and some others. Should be a fun week.
